If your using Google adwords for traffic generation, you have to know how many sales are coming from it to determine the ROI (return on investment).

The only problem with this if you using wordpress for your site is that it is hard to get the Google Adwords conversion code to work.

If you search online for solutions there are many but I have tried them and most do not work.

to add the Google conversion code to your wordpress website simply install the following javascript embed plugin:

http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/creative-clans-embed-script/installation/

you can also find this from your dashboard by going to

  1.  plugins -> add new ->

2. search for creative clans embed script then install and activate.

3. Next get your Google adwords conversion code, open your order confirmation page and add the script to this box on the right hand side:

4. Now go and search for one of you Adwords keyword phrases in Google, click on it and follow it through to a purchase and check the next day to make sure the transaction was recorded in the conversion section of your adwords.

That should do it!

If you have a different way of making this work please share.
